Throughout its existence, BETAMONT s.r.o. has actively operated in the field of signaling and security technology, thus continuing the tradition of Signal Workshops in Slovakia. Its historical background and a modern approach to the issue have enabled the company’s development and its establishment in the field of intelligent transport systems in 12 countries worldwide. A significant challenge during the company’s many years of operation in railway signaling and security technology is supporting development and promotion, as well as the sustainability of job positions and education in this area, which is confirmed by close cooperation with schools in Ko\u0161ice, Zvolen, and \u017dilina. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The exhibition opening took place under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport and Construction, Railways of the Slovak Republic, and the University of \u017dilina. The event itself was held on May 23, 2022, with the participation of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic, Ing. Andrej Kme\u0165, Deputy Director General of Railways of the Slovak Republic, Bc. Milan Kub\u00ed\u010dek, Rector of the University of \u017dilina, Prof. Ing. Jozef Janda\u010dka, and the Managing Director of BETAMONT s.r.o., Ing. Ondrej Maciak. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The preparation of the exhibition would not have been possible without the dedication of the company’s employees, who prepared the exhibition even in their private time, as well as long-term partners (KUMAT spol. s r.o., INOMA COMP s.r.o., Siemens Mobility s.r.o., Scheidt & Bachmann Slovensko s.r.o., ELEN s.r.o., VALBEK & PRODEX spol. s r.o., Kontron Transportation s.r.o, MR\u00c1Z J. spol s r.o.), who also supported it.<\/p>

Thanks to work that has become a passion for many, an exhibition was prepared consisting of unique historical elements of signaling and security technology. The exhibition guides visitors through historical milestones that influenced the safe operation of railway transport not only in Slovakia but also abroad. For many visitors, the exhibition will evoke childhood memories when signaling devices did not require an electricity source and operated on simple mechanical principles powered by human strength. At that time, steam locomotives traversed the railway tracks, and passenger carriages were equipped with solid-fuel stoves. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
